Default ABS light goes on/off after ITR sway bar install.

I put on the ITR sway bar about three weeks ago and I noticed that sometimes the ABS light would come on, and stay on until I turned the car off and back on again. I checked the lines, and they seem to be fine. Should I be worried about this?

either your abs system has something wrong with it, or you messed up some of the wiring when you installed your sway bar

did you bend any of the clips supporting the wires during your install?

if you want to sell it cheap pm me

Nick

I checked the wiring, and they all seem fine. Maybe I'll take everything off and put it back on again. Man, it's gonna be a PITA.

i had a similar experience when i went auto crossing. turned out the abs wire was getting pinched between the itr sway bar and control arm. after i pulled the wire out of the way, it stopped happening.

A pinched wire would be my guess, the bar sits pretty close.

I installed a bar today and used a few zip ties on each side to prevent the wires from getting yanked around and pinched when the bar twists.
