I was driving home and my car was running really hot because it was pretty hot that day. I try to make a U-turn and my car just dies. I had to get a friend to tow it back. I go back and check everything and everything seems fine. I try to start it and it won't start, but I notice that smoke was coming out of my breather. I do a compression test and this is what I have

1. 60, 2. 125, 3. 65, 4. 10

I was like what the fu@k. I going to pull the head tomorrow to see what kind of damage is in the block.

I'll guess rings unless you melted something.. might not be too bad off.

how much were u boosting?

 

what psi are you boosting? and are you intercooled?

 

I was only boosting 9lbs. and yes I'm intercooled

dude 9 lbs, oh my god. what injectors were you running and did you have the BTM installed? Man you should have kept the boost low at like 5-6 psi. With high compression motors you dont have to boost as much to make power. It's probably just rings. Hopefully the walls are scored up to badly.

 

Sound's like you crushed the piston ring landings. Time for a rebuild.
