sometimes honda axles can be tricky to get apart or put back together. Usually a clip will get damaged or bind up a little while removing. I would say take it back apart and inspect all the splines and make sure everything looks clean and unscratched/gouged. If anything looks some what jacked, hit the splines with some machinists files so the axle can be installed in the hub and trans without interference(lube lube lube her up!). Then take out the just tested piece and install a fresh retaining spring. This was long and not thoughout, im sure I misssed something and im sure you allready did all this but its worth a shot. If dirt or anything gets between the axle from not properly mating to the hub(same with the clip/axle mating into the tranny), it will literally shorten the overall space the axle has to move= less race for bearing to move in...binding=bad

You defiantely need to take off the snap ring on the axle. I woud then check your rotors. the rotor may be warped. Also what mount kit are you using? Maybe the postion the motor sits is making the axle bind. Has you car been crashed? you may have one of the suspension pieces bent slightly or even the frame. Hope you find it. If you do post it for future ref.

I got that in my 90 Si w/B16A, hasport mounts...but sometimes it goes away, and sometimes it's really bad...I've also started getting a rattle (like a soup can full of rocks) out of the front right whenever I turn left...the axles have only been in since the swap (like 7 months use!!)...I guess this info doesn't really help you, sorry
