TRansmission cracks?!?

When changing my oil, I just noticed that my transmission housing has a lot of "hair-line" cracks. Is this normal? I did a search and someone said that its from the sanding cast process, but that was only for a small part of the housing mine cracks all over. Can anyone help me keep my peace of mind, so I can still drop it to 3rd gear y0!

it's normal. I thought the same thing at first.

mine's the same way......it's those cracks with gaps that make me shudder
