Default Bent hood - can it be fixed?

My hood has a small dent in the front and on the drivers side it comes over the fender line a little bit, less than a centimeter. I think the previous owner might have hit or parked to close to something.

If you look at the hood in sunlight on the drivers side it reflects the light kind of funny as if its bent - hardly noticable.

Can one of those paintless dent places fix it? - the dent on the front is pretty easy - I just don't know about the bend. I will try to get some pics up if anyone wants to see it.

Its driving me crazy, if your walking towards the car from the drivers side you can see in to the engine bay a little!

I intend too, but I would like the option of having my OEM hood look good if I was in the mood to put it on

Besides, something tells me its cheaper to fix the OEM. Maybe I shouldn't bother if I am getting a CF hood eventually anyway but.....

Anyway, can one of the paintless dent places fix it?

I know.

edit: Could you point me to someplace that does sell them new for that much, I am having trouble finding one. The cheapest I have found for an OEM hood for my car is 243.87 and I would need to paint it.

So, can one of the paintless dent places fix it? I know some of you have gotten work done at one of those places - someone must know.

I would rather not do it myself, as I have never done any body work - it just might look worse, but if I have too.......

What is the cost of some of these places?

fixing the dent shouldn't be an issue, getting the bend out is an issue though. when they get bent like that, all the spots where the hood is glued to the braces pulls and warps the hood, makes it look all wavy.

I guess I'll stick to a cf hood, and if I really want the OEM look I'll just buy a new one and paint it.

its not really the edge it more like a small hump - unless you look at it in the sun you can't really tell - there are a few small indentations around the area, but like I said, the only thing that gives it away is that it is a bit higher than the fender.

I recently read a thread on it - you heat up the surface with a hair dryer then quickly put dry ice on the dent and sometimes it pops out, sometimes it doesn't do it all the way but gets you going in the right direction - anyway I have never done it, but thats what I heard.

Yeah, it would be great if they came out to my house, just in case it doesn't look as promised, and I hate leaving my car with anyone else - makes me feel violated
