i know that pretty much everybody likes them, but im about to order my h22 and i have some ?'s. does the motor come with everything, i know that some places screw u out of some parts. shifter cables? how much was ur shipping? any complaints? thanks a lot for all ur info!!

 

you will get everything...they usually are pretty good in shipping you everything. I saw how steve runs the warehoouse. he usually personal checks everything before shipping it.

I got an H22 about a month ago. TPS sensor was broken during shipping, not a big deal, and one of the shift cables was bent but I was able to bend it straight. Otherwise the engine seemed to be in good shape. The shipping company does suck though, they tired to charge me an extra $25 to move the engine 5ft from the truck into my garage

 

Last year my H22 swap came with everything, Motor, axles, ECU, shift linkage, downpipe (with o2 sensor attached) from HMO.

I've beaten the snot out of it for 22k miles, no problems to speak of.

 

the only thing I could think of missing would be the receipt for the engine since alot of member here never got their's when they bought them. might want to ask steve for the receipt when you buy the swap.

 

i got mine for $2500 shipped(2250 for the motor).. He forgot the MAP sensor and the Injector resistor..which was no biggy junkyard got tons of them. Perfect motor..i would buy from him again

 

yup, Steve has hooked me and my buddies up many times, his motors are the cleanest, most complete we have ordered, I will order from him again and again....there is no one else.

 

somewhat of a problem with his business. Well when I got the motor he sent me just about everything in good shape. The only thing I had to question was the computer he gave me a j-spec p13 which was a atuomatic transmission computer,but they reprogrammed it into a 5-speed. I went nuts changing the iacv,tps,egr,all that and fuel pump to a 255lph and come to find out it was just the computer.

BUt other than that steve is a good guy but for some reason he seems to use alot of excuses . Like he wasnt the one doing the swap and they may have damaged the sensors not him. I begin to question his acts of despiration but cant help but laugh he knows what he does. But he wont try and jerk you as long as you remain calm and work with him and explain your problem you just have to catch him while hes on the phone.

I just sent my computer back last week I couldnt take it anymore it was a freakin nightmare. Noone should have to go what I went through when it came to that swap. I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy,I actually had nightmares about it. Just fixin it and to hear that lopin idle drove me nuts. I actually tried talkin to my car and nobody knew what it was. But i do now I put the original f22a1 computer back in and it stopped.

 

I just got mine 1 month ago, with a smashed up oil and and a broken o2 sensor because of the shipping company. But everything else is fine and running okay.
