Ok well, I found an oil leak in my ls/vtec. I concluded it was comming from the head basket. Since the motor was just put together I thought I did somthing wrong. The leak was comming from the front left corner where the head mates the block. So I Dissasembled the motor, got it milled again, and changed the head gasket. I checked the torque on the head bolts, and they were fine. So i thought I fixed it. WELL, I DIDN'T. So I sparyed the motor with brake clean to get all the oil off, and watched the oil leak. Well i figured that it was comming from the vtec solenoid. I took it off, replaced the gasket, and tadaa, all fixed.
So for those who find this oil leak to be in the same spot, save your self some tine and check your vtec solenoid.

Reminds me of the time we completely overhauled a tranny b/c we thought it was the limited diff that died. Turned out to be one of the DSS stg3 axles that died. Talk about overkill.
I was just kiddin around dude...chill. Im sure we've all done something stupid like this at one time or another. I ripped out my whole dash one time because I thought my alarm was messed up, as it turns out I had a crappy battery ground.

Reminds me of another time where John (FastSS) completely removes the stereo, checks and rechecks the wiring, but can't figure it out. Radio stays out of operation for a while b/c the car was gone for a while.
Turned out to be the 7.5A back-up fuse in the engine bay fuse box that you use to reset the ECU. It kinda clicked when I realized that the clock and radio were both non-functional.

reminds me of the time when my car wouldn't start up. Checked just about everything and started panicking. recharged battery, checked map sensor, checked all voltage...turns out the plug to the starter was disconnected. yippee
