Default Our Budget is $600

What kind of performance parts can we get for our upcoming 04 RSX-S for $600? I know the budget is tight but there will be more coming up. We are just buyin parts now and when we get the car, its gonna be installed. Thanks.

Do not cut your springs, that is the worst thing you could do to your car. Well it all depends on what you want bro, do you want power or do you want handling.

If you want power go with this:
Aem or Injen CAI = 220.00
Catback exhaust = 400.oo
Total= 620.oo plus tax.

If you want handling I would save up an extra 150.oo and get the Tein Basic dampener which run for about 750.oo. With this you will have your handling set bro.

But either way bro you will want to get rid of that sorry excuse they call tires that come from the factory ( damn michellens *** tires).
Good luck.

I have heard alot of bad stories with people cutting thier springs. From horrible rebound to bouncy ride. I plan to use my car for the track so I will not go that route, I think I will just stick to my Tein Flex.

get some new tires first, a set of Yokohama ES100's will def change the car. Should have enough for an intake also, but the stock S has pretty good pick up outa the box.
Dont bother with the springs and save for some coilovers.

You dont really need a camber kit for a rsx cept in the back alot people have good camber after they lower it but it wouldnt hurt.

You can not go wrong with a Hayame exhaust, that is what I am running at the moment.

Get an intake and a header. You only gain a little peak power with the test pipe so it's not worth the money.

Ok for sure we are getting the Injen Short Ram. Now we are debating on the exhaust. We want it to be loud and deep.....not loud and high pitched. Thanks a lot.

Well you can gain quite abit from hondata, but you have to send your ecu to hondata. If you actually read his first post hes buying all mods now so.....hondata is out of the question. they maybe able to do it later if the rsx is not your daily

Whats the downtime for sending in the ecu? We are just getting the Intake and exhaust first. Then its gonna be header, pulleys, and maybe nitrous. And yes the rsx is gonna be our daily driver. Thanks alot.

Now we are considering the Apexi n1 along with the AEM SRI. Is goin wiht AEM SRI bad?
