The Passat is no R, but it is smooth and roomy [which is good for us old men ]

At least you could of gotten a fast sedan like a 5 spd 227hp SE Maxima or a WRX sedan. Why the flabby, watered down Audi!? Not flaimn bro, just wondering where the incentive to trade up to a Passat was?

WRX- too small, no option for leather [which I want because dog hair doesnt stick to it]

Maxima- '01 model was ok, but I was interested in the '02 [with 30 more hp, Xenon lights, etc...] except it wasnt going to be out until October. There was no way I could go that long without a car.

flabby and watered-down is opinion. yeah its heavy, but its also the top rated car I found saftey-wise [I have and 8yr old daughter to think about]. its got style [IMHO], plenty of torque, a very comfortable cabin, nice road feel, and was a great price....what more could I look for?

LOL, no upgrades planned as of yet.....we'll have to see.

H-PIMP- we all have our own opinions and preferences. I loved my R, but I am happy with my new car too.
