Default 1g dsm bov, mounting question

since the stock piping of a 1st gen eclipse is steel from what i've read can i buy one of these ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...90768 ), it says it's aluminum, and weld that to the charge pipe of my greddy kit, then bolt the 1g dsm bov to that adapter plate? I'm thinking this will be the best way to do it.

yeah that should work as long as its all aluminum...only problem you will prolly run into is that on the 2g eclipse that its for, they dont weld on they just slide in and use a clamp, so you are going to have to grind at the piping coming off the flange so it goes with the curvature on your pipe so you can get a clean weld on it.

you could also go and buy a small sheet of thick aluminum and make a flange and buy a little alumium pipe and have the flange welded to the pipe, then the pipe/flange welded to your i/c piping.
