hello all..i was wondering if you guyz could help me out w/ a problem ive been having. it seems that on the 1st to second shift, the gear seems to get stuck alot or most likely i am messing up the shift...its weird because ive never misshifted any of the other gears...and i dont think i do anything different on the first to second shift than any of the other shifts...do u guyz have any idea what could cause this or is this just me? thanks alot.......the gear grinds constantly so i need some help soon~ps da car is 3 months old so the clutch and tranny is good, plus i have a skunk2 short shifter

 

It sounds like the 2nd gear synchros are messed up. I would have the dealer look at it. You may want to remove the short shifter first though. They may claim that that is what screwed up the synchros.

 

The gears are close enough. Remove the short shifter and use the stock one.

Did this happen when you had the stock shifter? The short shifter will not gain you anything, it seems to have actually slowed you down.
