Default Greddy AF gauge showing lean

Few questions:
Is it normal to go lean for a few seconds when accelerating?
If you are too rich can it show lean on the gauge?
Is it normal for the needle to rest on the 14.6 mark when cruising?

Cuising at 14.6 is just where you want it. Its the stoichiometric ratio. It means that all the fuel and air is burning up. Running lean when accelerating is a lil wierd. At WOT, my a/f guage drops down to about 11.0:1 ratio. I hope you are reading the greddy guage right. The lower the number, the richer the mixture and the higher the number, the leaner. Hope that helped.

Initial throttle tip-in to WOT can induce momentary lean condition before the ECU compensates.

This lasts for like 2-3 secs. Don't think the computer is that slow. I dunno. Been playing with fuel pressure and nuthing really solves it.
USDM gsr head and a JDM gsr block. FPR is at 51 psi with the hose off. GRRRRRRRRRRR i'm reaching the upper limit of fuel pressure.

Is this happening at different rpm ranges, or the same?

Maybe the gauge is slow. Is the GReddy O2 sensor a heated unit?

Yes it is a heated unit. I seems like when i drive for a while and the unit is fully heated up the car wants to go lean like that at part throttle. Like when I'm at a light and i go through 1-3rd gear aggressively (not WOT) the needle will stay in the lean. Maybe the gauge is off i dunno.

im curious...a little off topic and sorry for jacking the thread but is the greddy gauge come with its own o2 sensor??
and does it not jump back and forth like my crappy auto meter??? or does it always give you a steady readings.....
and i would imagin its way more accurate then the auto meter

It comes with its own O2 and doesn't jump back and forward

Its alive....anyway, i just installed mine again( don't ask). and at WOT through Vtec my reading is 12.5-13. Can anyone tell me if that is a good reading or is it too rich or too lean. Can i play with the fuel alittle bit? Also what would be a good number using this gauge, since it seems to be backwards from a dyno wideband A/F graph.
