Default Need as much input asap, B16 EF Hatch no 4th sometimes, need for 1/4 tomarow...

here's the deal, my car sometimes shifts into 4th, not all of the times. The linkage is cut and welded but i did not do it. The car used to shioft perfect as I was told. So anyone have any input? I need as much help as possible cuz im running the car in the 1/4 tomarow and im already late to work trying to get it to work so any help ideas pictures ANYTHING im desperate cuz i need a 1/4 to get a good run...THANKS everyone that responds, il be back later on tonight to check responses....

make sure you have the clutch adjusted right, check oil in tranny,

i wish it was that, but i think the problem is in the linkage..anyone else??

If the linkage is cut and welded badly there's nothing you can do to fix it save cutting and rewelding it at a better angle.

Listen to the above guy - most tranny shifting problems are caused by badly adjusted clutches.

BTW let us know how the dragstrip goes

i just got home from the Track on my way to work im stoked my last run b4 i had to go was a 14.9 i was having 4th gear issues all day long but i hit 14.9 from 3rd to five...

i had the same problem...shifting was hard

i adjusted my clutch cable, and pedal..and it shifted much much smoother

i only get problems going into 4th..and i know the tranny is perfect cuz the guy b4 me swaped trannys, and his old and new tranny's are good the only thing i know is that it can be the linkage....

25 bux its open every sat at 10am but they line up at like 11 just have ur bat tied down all lugs helmet and your good to go...
