ok so i just bought a ek hatch with a gsr swap and i was told second gear didnt work unless you were making right turns. so i tried it and when turning right it goes into second and works just fine. so i changed the shift linkage didnt help. replaced the rear t bracket thinking they might have put the integra one in instead of the si one. still didnt work. every other gear works fine. anyone have any ideas before i have to go buy a tranny. thanks in advance

Try replacing the transmission fluid.

Try disconnecting the linkage and shifting it at the transmission. You can have someone shift the gears before disconnecting the linkage to see where 2nd is. If it does not shift 2nd at the trans, it is and internal problem. (Probably the 2nd synchro and sleeve)

tried it all. looks like im gunna have to buy another tranny. then rebuild this one. thanks guys
