Default pr3/pw0 ecu guru's

i have some quick questions

1) will a pr3 chip would work in a pw0 ecu? and vise versa?

2) the ECU throws a code 78 or 68 but it doesnt exists, what does that mean? bad soldering? faulty chip?

thanks in advance

um no such code, that is like 4 codes together or something. 1 long blink = 10, 1 short blink = 1, figure it out.
