I'm doing the MPFI swap and bought the bypass hose for an Si from Advance Auto Parts,but it looks too short.Is this the correct hose in the pic that's circled?It goes from the intake side of the manifold to the head.Can you ghetto rig the DX hose?Thanks,I tried the search first before posting.Also,what about the throttle cable...will the DX work and if not,what about a 90-93 Teg throttle cable?

the dx throttle cable will work but you will have alot of slack in it, i have mpfi swap on my car and am currently using the dx throttle cable, I have to adjust it every now and then just to keep it tight but its not a big deal, 2 min. worth of work. and yes that should be the correct hose, just test fit it first, if its wrong just take it back and get the right one

 

Thanks...that is the hose...it goes from the intake to the thermostat housing...doing the swap as we speak.

i agree that it is the hose. I had bought one foe my dx one time, and got that one by accident, and later found out it was for an si instead of a dx.
