Intermittent wiper switch doesn't work
I know this seems very minor but it's important to me. I can't stand to have my wipers on full blast when it's barely drizzling. Well, when I turn the wiper switch to intermittent, the blades cycle once then stop. They never move again unless I turn them off and back on. The hi and lo work fine, just intermittent is acting up. Has the wiper switch crapped out on me or is it something else?

there is no relay. the wiper thing is part of the computer on the back of the fuse box. check for loose or croaded(?) termnals.

yeah, mine used to do that and I happened to look under the dash and there was a loose black wire just hangin down, so I connected it to another ground wire and I was back to having intermediate wiper motion again. Actually the wire was haingin directly under the steering wheel.
intermittent will wipe once when i turn it on, sometimes (very rarely) it will work more than once, your right there is no relay, it's all controlled by the switch on the steering column, i have a parts car, i'm gonna go rip it out tonight and try it tomarrow, i think that's the prob because everything else works fine, high and low work, and the washermotors, and that's all that the switch controlls before it sends it to the control unit.

try this first. find the wire that goes from the switch to the comp. and try an input test. it says how to do it in a helms or chilton and see if your interittent wipers work now. If they do then titis the switch; however if not then it is your comp. i hate to see you pull the steering wheel and swtich just to see that's it's not the switch.
Back from the dead.
I've had my intermittent setting fail as well.
I've found that if I turn it on to intermittent and leave it, about 5 minutes later it will start working as normal. I think there is a bad solder connection in the module somewhere that is fixable.
