Who's running it? What's the cost? My girlfriend's looking for an excuse to get me out to pittsburgh

 

The track is running it (BeaveRun), it's $150 for the day. They have instuctors, and last time they gave us free lunch. Normally get 6 or more 20min track sessions because it's a week day and not many show up.

 

Wish I could-but am towing to Pocono for the weekend. When is the next open day so I can plan to be there?

What do you want to know? I't very much like a NASA weekend but no racing, just HPDE type groups. Normally 2 or 3 groups total, gates open at 7am. I was up there when they only had 2 groups (not many peeps showed up), and it was great we had 20min on track, 20min off, then 20min back on... all day!

I answered my own question. I was going to ask who's running it...

Sounds like a good deal. My car is having some engine issues, and I'm having financial issues so I don't know if I'll make it.

 

I just checked the calendar and it looks like they changed the open lapping day to the 29th. The 8th looks like it's now a practice day for classic formula guys.

yeah if you go to beaverun.com there is some kind of charity event this weekend. i was thinking of going out but i got to work. i believe its called lifesteps or something similar.

but we should get a honda-tech open track day going for one of the september open track days. anyone in??? im sure i could get at least two of my friends to come out and myself.

just curious, how tedious is the tech inspection?? just need to know what i need to do in order to get ready to go out.
