dono... havent pulled the head yet. i was attempting to keep it under wraps until i knew but i guess it doesnt matter at this point. numer 3 spark plug was all mangled. the other plugs didnt show any signs of detonation and i do use a j&s. if im lucky i just popped a piston. we'll see within the next day or 2.

hmmm could it be cause of the high compression you were running? im planning on getting 9.8:1 as well.

I hope it isn't too serious. I've had a spark plug close its gap without any foreign objects in the cylinder. I gapped it and it ran well. Good Luck!!!!
