Default anyone can post me a picture of a stock ITR air filter

I opened my air box toady and swap a grey cylinder filter... is that the oem... the filter was looking exactly like an aftermarket drop in filter.... I rided the car witout the top of the air box and noticed a great improvement in power ans throttle response...Can anyonepost a pic of the stock filter element to see If I have the stock one.... the brand written on it is toyoroki

It is in your mind. You are actually losing power without the cover on the airbox. It just sounds better.

are you sure about that ? I now that sounds doesn't equals power but.... I felle litlle bit more power Iam gonna replug my air box this afternoon to compare...

on the dyno, my car showed 10whp loss with lid of.. this is comptech filter with comptech box..

stock box might be more restrictive.. if theres is a difference, probably minor difference.

you said your car lost 10 whp by removing the top of the air box ? **** that a lot I think Iwll run my car without sound but with more power.... I will just modifiy the lower part of the air box by removing the resonator in the fenderliner and I ll install a mandrel bent tube that will make the link direclty into the airbox...

Think about it... with the top off, your intake is actually taking in hotter air. Also if leaving the top off is better, then honda would've left it off.

honda put a top because the filter get dirty very fast if there is not.... I am gonna test this in a 1/4 mile strip.....

That is probably with a close to stock motor. A built motor that requires more air would more likely benefit from a open top.
