I was lookin for an exhaust I don't have to modify to fit on my car....I read that you have to cut it 7" shorter.....I'm lookin for a Direct fit...I have to say the Fujitsubo is a pretty sweet lookin exhaust

Any truth to this? My Fujitsubo is on the way and I'd like to confirm this info so I can get a quote from a local muffler shop to modify it. BTW, I have a comptech race header with the adapter to the stock muffler, still have to modify it?

So don't modify the exhaust. Get a "JDM" sized catalytic converter.

HA HA HA.

I personally vouch for the homemade budget special. Inexpensive high flow muffler with 2.5in mandrel bent muffler shop piping = decent HP with a lot less cost as pre-manufactured exhaust. Not that there isn't a benefit to the name brand stuff, it just isn't totally necessary.

JG Edelbrock 2.5 straight through/stealth = 60-70 new
Es oval 2.5 straight through/stealth = 100 new

Full 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust w/ muffler = under 300

Len, you may not have to run the adapter and then you can modify it to bolt right to the header. I think you might still need to modify it but the adapter is not something I would run if I could help it.

The Adapter isn't 7" long so if that is the right number it shoudl be very close. YOu will need a different flange (Might want to cut up the adapter since it has the perfect flange for the header
