Today on the way to work I was stopped at a light and I smelled that unforgettable brown sugar/coolant smell. So when I got to work a few minutes later, I popped the hood and a buddy of mine and myself looked but couldnt we see anything. Well, when we came out of work, we looked again and along the top of the radiator, we noticed coolant all the way around.

Well, when I got home, my father and I went out and had a look, and we replaced the coolant while we were at it. Well, I let the car run for a bit after that and when my brother got home is when it really started to leak. Its leaking from the passenger side top of the radiator.

Anyhow, I know Im probably going to need a new radiator, but should I take it to a radiator person, buy an aftermarket radiator and do it myself, or take it to Honda?

 

I just got a new radiator from autozone and put that in. Haven't had any problems with it... yet.

 

If the radiator is leaking, buy a new one. I suggest this place that will save you lots of $$ http://www.radiators.com

 

new radiator goes around $100-$150.
you should you do it yourself and check all hoses
while you are at it..
