Check this out! L. A. area cable channel KDOC TV will be broadcasting some footage from the Willow Springs race. It will be shown on Monday August 4th @ 11:30PM. You can check to see if your cable company carries this station @ http://www.kdoctv.net. Are you sure it's on KDOC? I called the station and spoke with the programming manager. I asked if they had done a documentary recently on car racing, and he replied they had not.

It might just be in the news. KDOC has shown smaller things on their news program, and might have like a 10 minute section on it or something. Maybe the programming manager didn't think that qualified as a "documentary on car racing."

 

NASA filmed, produced, and bought the air time to get it on TV. The programming manager probably only knows about the KDOC produced shows. I delivered the tape personally to the department that gets it ready for broadcast so it better be on.

For those that dont have access to the TV channel, check out the videos posted online at the links in the top of this post. . One is the segment that will air tonight on TV and the other is from Hyperfest at California Speedway which you will only be able to see on the internet site.

it'd better be more than that, i just added local channels to my directv package!

that's $5 less per month i can spend on my car.

I got permission to use the logo from Karl who got it from ?? (can't remember the name of the person who made the logo). I have had decals made. They have been, or in some cases will be very soon, shipped out to the different regions.

The idea was to have all the race cars display a 'series' decal.

 

That was great! I wonder how many new people it drew in though, at 11:30 pm.

I saw myself on that show too!
I was leaning up against shawn's car in pre grid while Ryan was talking in front of us.
The camera zooms in close to Ryan and you could see my face haha.

No problem to digitize and post but the entire show would be probably nearly 300MB and the Honda Challenge segment (without interviews) is already available online at http://www.hondachallenge.com/gallery/album02 and is 5MB. I figured that most Honda guys would not care about the Stock Cars, American Iron etc. That being said you are more than welcome to do what you wish.

I am in the process of getting a huge run of DVD copies made so I can make them available to all interested parties.

 

Nice, I like how you guys have made a video composition from each race, and have these available on the web-site. I really wish we had those produced from our races and on our ECHC site as well. Nice Job!

 

Ok I missed Maria's part on Kiss My 2 but did'nt miss Angelinas part in Older Women Younger Men 6 on the Pay Per View last night to watch this segment

Though overall I liked it cause, hey it's racing I could have done with alot less talking and alot more full volume heavy metal enhanced neck and neck racing

The number of times that you showed people taking of course excursions probably is'nt boosting attendance nor the fact everyone interviewed acted like a ricer redneck.

I think anyone whose seen Girl Skateboards classic flick Goldfish will understand the kind of things that get people pumped up and out doing it.

Keep up the good work just try not to end up with one of those segments where people are fumbling **** all over the place to make your product look better.
