Give Dave an email, at http://www.RandDmotorsports.com we were just talking about this the other day.

Use a hand torque wrench only! Torque to 88-118Nm or 65-87 Ft/Lbs. I would go on the lighter side as if you over tighten, you will jump threads. Also, make sure you apply anti-seize as well. Argiris, give me a call if you need to. Thanks.
The torque figures given in STEP 2 show a range of 65-87 fl-lbs (88-118N-M).
Since the stock torque requirement is 80 ft-lbs I think I would stick with it. Besides, I think that the material used in the hub assembly determines the torque spec, not the wheel. This is probably why spoon offers a range versus an actual number. This allows the lugs to be torqued to the specifications determined by the hub assembly. The range simply ensures that the wheels are not used improperly.

You should always torque your wheels, I saw a car at Watkins Glen loose a wheel because he forgot to torque is race tires down. Better safe then sorry!
