Holy Sh*t
I bought my Prelude site-unseen. Well, it just came off the delivery truck, and let me tell you. I was not prepared at all. Both air bags have been removed, and a vinyl something has been put in it's place. It has had some extensive body work, none of it good. This one is going to take some time! I just would liket o meet the kid who had this before. It amazes me what in the world goes through peoples minds! Well, off to see what else is missing. This will really cut into my HP budget!!

I paid $1800 for it. It had a rod thrown through the block, but I got a H22A4 block for free. When you see a set of pictures, they can always be deceiving. It was the car I saw A picture of, but I had no idea it would be in this shape. I guess the kid who had it before had blown the engine, and get this, started a complete tear down. So, I have this puzzle drop shipped to my house ($870). I guess he started taking it apart, and just forgot where everything went! Well, I am going to need to get my hands on a good manual to put it back together! Any suggestions? I guess that isn't bad, I have invested only $2670, and I have a 93 Prelude that needs hella work. The alternator was in the truck, which by the way has a leak, so it is rusted completely through. And I still haven't been able to find the power steering pump. Lucky for me I have a brother in law that is a parts manager for honda! But everything is starting to look up, I did some tile work in my buddy's house, and he works at a body shop. SO, he is going to stop by today and let me know what he thinks. I don't really forsee anything getting worse. I checked over the body and it doesn't appear to have any bondo on it. Should I be concerned about the airbags? Will NIRA let me race without them? Or will that just boost me out of the street class? Well, I have to go a donate some furniture to the Salvation Army. Please, anybody respond to the question I have posted in this long, drawn out, whinning fit I was having.

It is a little bit of both. It looks as if all the windows were RTV-ed back in. The paint job is peeling and it looks like it is something out of Maaco. The fenders, trunk, and hood were all installed wrong! And the entire interior seems as if it has black spray paint on everything. Like I said it is going to be a job, or it just may be a motor pull and wait on another Prelude!
