went to the dyno SpeedPhreak Help ...
well i used the base PR4 program and redid it for a 3 BAR map with 148 fuel and .7 retard to be safe. When i dynoed at 5.5-6 psi i got about 182 whp at 5900-6000 rpm but my fuel curve went from my wanted 11.5 to about 10-10.5 and got richer the higher i tached out, killing my hp above 4800rpm
. I wanted to know if i should lean out all rpm above the 4400 mark on zdyne a tade because the next level of 5300 is much richer than 4400 and then gets lean again , im thinking of giving it a nice leaner number at 5300 but a little higher than 4400 and then raise the remaining rpm's to make a nicer curve... what do you guys think need some input.

That sounds like a good idea. Where was the wideband O2 sensor reading taken at? Was it at the tail pipe or in the DP. Also are you running an open loop wastegate? Those #'s are pretty good. I made 189 whp @ 5 psi. But then I turned it up to 8 psi and the hp didn't change at all!
The funny thing was the shop I was at was trying to tell me to tune my a/f #'s to 14:1 or leaner
Thats when I went out and got my own WB and tuned it myself.

the WBo2 was in the tail and it stayed way tooo rich but its up to 7.8-8.4 psi now and rips pretty good i added the new curve and my a/f guage doesnt move outa green under boost so it must still be ok
Sorry I don't have anything useful to add.. But.. you guys are both really close to me. is GBG gettysburg? I just get a kick out of seeing local guys on here.. Sorry.
I don't have my laptop here so I am just shooting off the top of my head. What I am saying is correct but I can not guide you through it step by step unless I have my laptop infront of me. Anyways, look under the setup spot where you enter in all your parameters for the car (ie: what kinda map sensor, where you want your vtec to kick in etc. Somewhere in those 3 pages of setups you will find your boost compensation number. If it for example is set at 166, then change that number to 155 and try that out (lower numbers then what you have would lean it out, the opposite applies when you want it richer). This feature kinda works like a FMU. It supplies extra fuel to the motor when under boost not regualar driving. Thats the number you want to change. It works like a global percentage throughout your entire rpm range while in boost. Don't mess with your fuel map because that can through you in the shithouse real quick. Trust me I know. Hope this helps bro. Good luck.

Aight, Zdyne extrapolates between curves/rpm tables. So if you are running extremely rich above 5500, your 6300 fuel curve is prolly way to rich. LS's don't make decent power above about 6500 anyways, boosted or not....stock. Even on my built LS the fueling above 6300 is a good bit leaner than the rows under it, and I rev to 8k.
Also you may want to make sure you're not boost creeping and that you're correcting the proper curves, else it makes it a bit of a headache to tune.
