Who makes this one?

 

No CLue,
But John Whitaker, (JOHN W) on this board own Roadracegear.com and does make and integra splitter, I belive that Franza has one on the front of his car.

 

I remember someone here was selling his Andrew Site splitter...forgot his name but he's from Virginia.

 

I know Im a noob but what is a splitter?

I have one exactly like it. It is carbon fiber and I got it from Idol-motorsport in Germany. Sven has more info on it regarding availability and price, for sure. Ask him.

 

I am not a fan of splitters but that car looks sweet.

 

Have you guys read this months SCC mag? They made one out of plywood for their Sentra Road Race car....interesting, lol.

When air gets underneath a car at speed, it creates turbulent and "floats" the car. A splitter would direct more air going above the car, instead of letting them flow underneath.

 

When air hits the front of the car it creates a high pressure zone. The pressure is exerted in all directions including straight down onto the lip pressing the front of the car down.

 

It forces more air into the bumper openings also. Therefore, the radiator will get more air for better cooling.

You love bringing that up, don't you? </TD></TR></TABLE> hah, i was really close in getting one from them... then at the last second, "we might just use this, it looks like its in tact".. man, what a bummer. i could of had the complete setup. but its all goooooood. hopefully next time around, i can get a splitter (not that i want the to wreck, but if they happen to bring an extra one and it got stepped on by couple people, and they didnt want it)

 

doesn anybody make one for the JDM DC2 front end

 

Just borrow one off this car:



It's 1" thick carbon fiber and can support the entire weight of the car

 

That's about the only thing I"d want from the pushrod powerd POS

Maybe not a POS but definatly overpriced and underperforming. Check out some archived threads on the S7 on H-T. I've compiled a bunch of cars that are quicker, have a higher top speed ext for far less cash.

They are expensive, I will give you that. But it's just as much an icon as it is a car.
