1/4 mile guesses, yes i know its a noob question but i want some opinions here.
Okay i have a 91 hatch si with no back seats and nothing in the trunk, 88 crx si block, tranny, ecu, tb and all, 95 civic ex head, short ram intake, chikara header, thermal mid-pipe w/custom welded axle back, hi-flow cat, b&m fuel pressure regulator, V-AFC... on the way.. p28 ecu so i can set VTEC the right way... at around 5000rpm. 16" wheels with proxes fz4's with like 95% tread left. what do you guys think i'll run?
i'm mainly posting this cuz one of my friends said high 15's, i'm like BS!!!! with my stock a6 motor i could pull that off. also does anyone know what compression ratio i'm getting with the mini-me swap? i've seen a few times about 10:1 compression, does that sound right? thanks guys!

in the winter i'm saving up for a 90-91 si tranny w/clutch masters stage 2 clutch, and then a dyno tune for the fpr and vafc.. then what do you think? low 15's all day?
So you're just changing clutches? Unless your clutch isn't grabbing it won't make a difference. As for the dyno tune - I'd expect 5-10hp because it's a minime, untuned. Sure, you can say low 15s - again, if you can drive! But really it doesn't matter what it should run; it only matters what it DOES run. So go find out.
There are so many other factors too....only way to find out is to run it! Providing you can drive you'll find out the times it is capable of.

Mid or low 15's you might get away with 14.99999999 lol with slicks. Depends if you know how to drive your car. well im not sure i seen that set up in this yellow Crx back in Highschool and the guy broke 14.8 but he had a clutch and all the basics soo i dont know....just go run it ....dont quote me you may run a high 15

haha, maybe with a rocket up his ***...y0
don't be suprised with some really bad times...like 15.9+

JC, thats why i'm getting a 90-91 tranny so i don't have to worry about the 88 si odd-ball ****. and people who think high 15's you should be slapped, i raced a friends CRX that hit 15.63 on a D16a6 with short ram intake, dc header, thermal exhaust, lowered, and an upgraded clutch, i raced him a week before he went up to rockfalls and ran that time. and i was dead even with him at 85 mph. that was with MY D16a6, now i have mini-me!
oh yeah forgot, a lightened fly. around 9-10 lbs is also what i am planning on doing.
Also i don't know how fast 94 Z28's are.. but i raced my friend on a roll on of 25 mph and at 80 mph he was almost 2 cars ahead of me and he went first on the roll. his is an auto too & completely stock except holes in the exhaust.
What you run at the track and what you run on the street are two totally different things. There's too many factors to say what you will run. You can possibly hit low 15's or you can run 16's all night long. It just depends. If the temperature is warm/hot, expect a much slower time. This is just my opinion. Just to give you an idea, a few months ago I ran a best 15.5 and consistent 15.6's with temp 65 deg, low humidity. Last month I ran a best 16.1 with temp 85 deg and high humidity. That's half a second difference. Just don't expect too much or you may be dissappointed.
