does anyone know if the rsx type s 6 speed tranny will bolt to a b series block?

 

lets see, it's designed for a motor that spins the opposite way, has a different spline count on the axles. . . .

nope, don't think that one's gonna happen.

it will however bolt onto any other k series block.

 

so ur saying that it fits onto a rsx base model? are you sure about this or jsut hearsay? has there been successful transplants of the type s 6 sp. into the base model? i would really like to know, please give me some facts. thanks

 

It will fit, but with lower redline we have it will not work to its full potential

 

The short gearing has to help a bit or should.

 

Yeah, it fits an RSX as well as an EP. It is obviously beneficial, but you aren't using all the potential in it, until you swap the engine as well.

 

rsx- s head | rsx - s ecu + 6 speed = poor mans swap, but it's dreamy.
