Questions about Engine swap
I want to put an integra LS engine in my 97' civic dx coupe soon. I want this over the GSR engine because of $$$, I heard someone here say its only around 2,000 for the full swap. My question is, once i swap engine, tranny, and ecu, would I then upgrade the LS engine with parts for an integra LS? Like exhaust, would I buy one for an LS, like would it fit my civic brackets?? Also, do they have any turbo kits available for the LS? I notice most ads for turbos are only for civic ex's, si's and gsr's.
For parts anything that bolts directly to the motor buy for a LS....for exhaust buy a civic exhaust...for turbo you can buy either the DRAG GENIII kit for the LS or buy the Greddy Kit for the SOHC Civic and sell the turbo manifold and buy a B series turbo manifold.
or there is also the Fmax turbo kit for the LS http://www.fmax.com
FMAX is one of the worst turbo kits I have seen put together...I have to agree with DRAGIII from both word of mouth and experience DRAG GENIII you won't regret it.
