Default just got a 1989 all trac camry... tips?

hey i jus got a 1989 all trac camry for 500 bucks.... engine runs fine... battery died a lot cuz the dude didnt drive it for a year... but now it starts consistently.... any of you guys have any tips that i could do to it myself to make it last longer?

its stick... and you can turn the awd on and off... i just got it 2 play around with

havent really noticed any major problems... except normal wear... shifting into first and into reverse is really shaky... u can throw it from any gear into neutral without pressing the clutch which i dont think is very good... either it has no power steering, or steering is TIGHT.... clutch is really tight 2... das all i noticed so far...

yea but i dont want it 2 die too fast.... so any tips would be greatly appreciated.... thanxxxx

payceeeee

( i kno its not a honda.... plz dont lock...)

If you didn't get any maintenance records with the car, I would change all the fluids. And get some NGK or Denso plugs. I think most Toyotas come out of gear pretty easily compared to Hondas. A 4wd car in a snow covered parking lot is a lot of fun (watch out for light poles ).
