My mom just bought a 1994 Accord V-tec from my dad, he's got a car dealership, but even though she paid him for the car and has a 2 bay shop he won't replace the starter, even though she'll pay for it. He's a real jerk. but the same week she bought it, the car has problems starting:

at first it wasn't bad, when turning the key to start, the car would click once, each time you turn it and not turn over the motor. at first it would do it only a couple times, then start, now after 2 weeks it has gotten to where you can turn it 40-50 times before it will start, We're assuming it will need a new starter.

Any help, comments, suggestions, I need to know what year starters will fit this, does it have to be a starter from a V-tec? manual or automatic (this is a manual) , etc, etc.

I'm no mechanic, but if we can get the starter my brother can put it on, we just need to know what will fit, so i can pick one up online.
