Well, after 2 months of waiting, I recieved my header. The cat is on its way and should arrive saturday.

One concern is that my header doesnt appear new. How does it look to you guys? This is my first experience with the header.

I would weld the primaries and port them, then jet hot coat them, but when no ching ching, no bling bling.

Nope, that's a new 'un! No one ever said they were purty . Mine's painted black with thermal wrap around it, so eh... who cares. EV.

where did you get your cat from? a guy here at a local import place said that I have to get a high flow cat and weld it on?!?!! WTF. Also, have you seen the new DC Sports one that is like the JDM model? Check out DC Sports website... they have a picture of it (and it's a lot cleaner than the JDM).

 

what cat did you order??

 

i got a carsound cat with 2.5 inch openings. I got it from carlex from import specialists.

 

I told Minty to post here cause you guys could let him know (Reassure Him) that the JDM header was new just not pretty.

He got the cats from us in a Group buy.

We did the Header, Cat, and All the Gaskets ready to bolt up. We are actually getting ready to do another buy if any one is interested.

Also thanks to Mike (TypeRmsm) at IPS for helping me get the cats fabbed up.

On a side Note we are offering Jet hot at a discount when you get a header package!

I got to give the guys in the group buy a big for their patience with us as the headers were on the slow boat over from the mother land! You guys rawk. . .

 

I'd also like to mention that a couple guys have yet to receive their headers. Fear not guys, they're on the way. In the meantime, you guys should pipe down so you don't make them feel bad that theirs were delayed while we searched for new boxes!
