Default August Honda Challenge race with Team Continental @ Thunderhill

Who is coming? Who is going to take home bragging rights? Can the Bulldog bite Civicrr? Will Fastom walk on RR98ITR? How many trophies can one team win?

Check out http://www.teamcontinental.com go to the 'TC racing' link. Rising Sun Championship! More to follow!

30 days until the big haul!

This should be one of the best race weekends on the west coast. We have put together a really great contingency package with many of the supporters of NASA's Honda Challenge as well as some sigle-event sponsors.

Special thanks to H-T's own John Whitaker and RRG.com for there generous support. And of course Andie from ColbalT!

Check out the contingency/prize description: (go to the "TC Racing" link and on the second page, click on the "WCHC contingency" link)

http://www.teamcontinental.com/

You can also find the schedule and entry forms on the second page.

The NW guys are ready to go! I look forward to meeting all the Cal HC guys and the H-T guys who plan on coming out and supporting the race.

Greg

I'll be there.
Any other H5 guys going to be there? Any EG dx model cars?
Believe it or not i have never raced against another Honda im my class.
If you were thinking about it, stop thinking and just do it.
If needed i can come up with some smack talk to entice some one to come out.
(not really my style but if it gets you there.)
Bring On a friendly challenge.

....so now I am thinking....I haven't been in the car since June....maybe I should do a test day before the weekend so that I'm not sooo rusty. I know a bunch of PacNW guys will be testing. I would hate to have them take home all the trophies, especially mine.

There will be a few H5 cars for you to battle @ least. There will be a CRX & a 4th Gen Civic 'hatch. Unfortunately, I believe that ITACivic aka Greg U. is already in Japan on his new job.

Steve Ingersoll may bring his CRX down and run with us... Watch out H4!!

There may be a Canadian presence also in the H5 and H3 group. But whoever shows is in for one hell of a time...

(There maybe Margaritas served from 5-gallon fuel jugs at the Saturday night TEX-Mex banquet!)

Good thing my team mate isn't much of a drinker. Sounds like we will need a designated driver. If we get to sh@@faced, I guess we can sleep in the trailer.

Is it time for smack talk already?!? Probably not ....but here goes anyway.

Man, I bet you guys won't even see me after the start. That is not unless you look in your rearview mirrors! Or you lap me!

Mike-

If you don't beat me, you should hang your head in shame. I hear the call you the "King-of-the-Hill" or is it "Hank Hill"?

I may even bring down a new set of Toyos just to make sure my pig flies, so if you want to make a side bet - say a sixer - I'll wager with ya!

Go easy there big fella. I'm your crew chief so I'm in charge of making sure your azz isn't hung over. Hang-overs when it's 100+ degrees outside ain't my idea of a good time.

~psssst... I'll be sure to keep Mike's cup full though

Not a chance, Chief. I remember what Bonforte looked like last year!

Mike- I'm bringing a six pack of a local brew ~ Olympia. I understand it's a favorite with Firemen and Postal Carriers. Gosh, I hope I don't lose...

Greg ~ margarita free in '03

Oly? Wow, I may have to do an engine swap and buy new 14" wheels so I can compete for that!!! I don't think I have tasted the fresh Artesian Water since... High School?

So, I haven't seen any H1's yet. Anyone in H1? It might be good to know how silly I am going to get slapped out there too. This thread has the undertones of reverse psychology smack talk.

I look forward to a long weekend down there at THill

Jim

No problem.

I will pledge that if the TC version of the WCHC grows into it's own series in 04 and beyond..... with multiple days and events. I will supply the 2004 WC Hard-Charger awards. Why should the EC guys get all the trophies?

Now back to the smack!!!

Whats the current line in Vegas???? Bulldog/ civicrr

I'm the Buster Douglas longshot.

Jim... You think I should step it up a notch and bring Rainier instead of Oly? I can't find any Hamm's in the stores. Mike will probably be bringing some Anchor Steam or something classy.

RAAAAAAYY-NEEEEEEER-BEEEEEEER! (upshifting from 1st thru 3rd)

Well, if you are bringing Oly, I will just bring Mickeys.

How about some Gordon Biersch?
