Default obdII b20 into 95 integra question

is it possible to just do a direct/bolt in swap of an obdII b20 long block in place of the b18 longblock in a 95 integra? Or will there be sensor/ecu problems? If there are problems, what's the easiest way to fix it? Thanks

You will probably have to get a different rear trans bracket, as well as a different drivers side engine bracket, most likely from a Del Sol VTEC or from a 99-00 Civic Si (PR3 part code). Use the Integra harness and have fun!

Yup Just reuse your factory driver's side mount + bracket and the rear bracket. Other than that the swap will be straight forward as if you were replacing your motor with another B18B1. Just reuse your injectors and distributor to keep it OBDI and it will be plug n' play.

well lets see here...you can use all of your stock brackets so don't worry about that and i mean all the side brackets back blah blah blah...use your distributor...your wiring harness...wiring should be easy except you may have to extend a couple to fit and the O2 sensor will need some extensive work other than that its direct bolt on be sure to follow torque down and miss. stuff any other questoins let me know..all this b16 stuff is pointless so don't worry about b16 bracket blah blah blah and getting stuff off del slow's...

Take it easy KimChi, i thought he was swapping the whole motor out, and swapping in an OBD2 B20. My bad.

I guess I should have stated this right off the bat. I have a gsr. In that case, I can still use the old mounts and brackets, right? Just lift out the old motor and drop in the new one? I know some things will have to be extended, wires and vacuum tubes. As for the distributor, will the gsr one work? If not, which one should I get?

Thanks again for the help.

I'm wondering if it will be worth it though...do you ever plan on doing turbo or something?? The B20 block is notorious for sleeve problems(cracking from the bottom up), because people rev the be-jesus out of it, and boost it like crazy.
Just my opinion, but I would think it over again, maybe you can pick up that extra power elsewhere, and still have the reliable B18C block.

The reason I plan on doing this is because I want an engine to last me until I rebuild the b18c1. Then, I'll swap that back in, build up the b20 and drop it into a civic or something. And when the b20 is in, I'm not going to rev it to 8k. Only to about 6 or 6.5k.
