News about the new s2k!
Finally, Honda's Chief Engineer, Sakuji Arai (the man who built the B16B,B18C5 and F20C decided to build a 2,198cc engine for the new S2k (we knew that), but the horsepower goes up to 253hp! The engine is better in low revs and in redline the same. The new cylinder head is exactly the same that the honda Formula 3 uses and the transmission will be the same with the 2003 S2k. (official info from EVO magazine july 2003)

is this the '04 or '05 s that this will apply to? anyone think that there will be problems with the new motor like there are with the 00 and 01 motors? is the price supposed to be the same? roughly $33k USD

from what I've read in the past, the redline will be lower in this engine. however, the low and mid range engine response will be better.

I didn't knew that the S2000 in USA is so cheap! Here, a new one is about 46000$. THE BAD NEWS IS THAT THE 2004 MODEL WILL COST $50000 IN EUROPE. I don't know how many in the US.
