Default 7500 bad for B18A?

I was wondering if hitting around 7300-7500 rpm for a split second could have hurt my engine.. cuz i was just screwing around shifted out of 3rd at around 5500 rpm and hit 2nd instead of 4th (my tranny is screwed up BTW, synchros are bad) I caught it before it fully engaged and it runs fine, no rough idle or anything.. just concerned
