i just bought a radar detector for my 98 accord ex. last night i was looking for a way to run the wire through the dash to reach the visor. so i took off the drivers side fuse panel. i then noticed the 4th relay from the top marked "ACC RELAY" had a green wire coming from an outside source into the fuse. The wire is pushed in with the fuse. Now...i know HONDA didnt do this! Could have the previous owner have made some kind of cut off switch?? The car just has the factory security system. So i need someones' opinion. thanks alot for the help

Trace out the green wire. Find out where it goes and then you will have your answer.

 

probably the guy tap the wires so the "item" will turn one when the car's key is in the ign.

maybe like an aftermarket guage, etc

 

You could just pull the wire off the fuse and see what doesn't work anymore.

Hey, the guy may have installed his radar detector with that green wire and took it off when he sold it to you.
