Default My ITR Hatch Video

Couldn't decide where to post this so i guess it will end up here...

I have a Type R motor w/ JDM R transmission (98+) in a 92 EG hatchback.

(its important to note, my tach is the most inaccurate tachometer of all time and when it looks like i'm shifting at 6500, i'm really shifting at 7800. i have a JDM GSR ecu with 8k redline and the car is NOT tuned yet. it will be tuned with hondata/310 CC injectors in the next two weeks by frank at south florida performance)

Complete Specs on Car.

Brand New ITR shortblock

it is called the hybrid intake although i'm willing to bet it works on some model integra's.

its pretty nice, i like the design and how clean it is.

just wish i could get rid of the "ICEMAN" lettering.

i haven't run it yet...simply haven't had time.

after tuning i'll make it a point to run my car at the track.

a similar setup here went 13.64@104 with gsr tranny, open diff, 13 inch wheels w/ vx rims.

i'm hoping for 13.8's as i can't drive as well as he can.

damn 104 mph trap is good for a high 12 second pass with good traction. good luck with your setup.

i am assuming i trap at 100-102 right now...maybe a little more but its doubtful.

i have absolutely ZERO midrange with the ecu i'm running...

vtec at 4400 kills midrange power.

He probably didn't want to convert to an OBD2 harness, and the only VTEC ECU he could find was a P72...happened to be the same situation I was in with my '95 a few years back.

Correct me if I'm wrong Chet.

couldnt decide where to post a post about your hybrid vehicle? how about posting it in the hybrid forum.

not to rain on your parade, but a hatch with a b18c5 motor is not a new concept.

its not even an ITR, no matter how many itr parts you slap on it.

this is correct...i wanted to break the motor in with an OEM Ecu that doesn't advance the timing like crazy. gsr ecu's run a little rich making it safe to run this ecu with my setup. hondata and injectors are sitting in my room...its just taking me a little while to get everything tuned.

and while i guess i could have posted this in another forum, i like the ITR forum and know quite a few guys in here...

My video player is all jacked up. ALl the colors are messed up. Your green machine looks bronze in my player. Looks good in bronze, but I didn't like the purple headlights.

I just watched the video one more time and I realized on your run at the end you didn't rev passed 7k rpms. Why not take the type-r motor to 8k?
