Hey I got a d16y7, 14b, smc500, 450cc, walbro 255 pump, using 10watt 10ohm resistors, modified seals. Just got my install done today. Did a few turn overs without the plug wires on to circulate oil. Hooked them back and tried to crank, just keeps turning over but not catching. I was using -35 all the way.. droped it down to -1 and -11 to try and get it running. Pulled my plugs and found them wet, changed plugs. Same thing no catch. Its a decently strong gassy smell whenever I'm turning it over. Wondering what these symptoms could be. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

 

How'd u hook up the resistors?

 

Just connected one end to the yellow/black wire of the obd1 injector clips, and the other to the yellow/black wire going into the harness, soldered, wrapped with wire tape.

 

didn't u use a resistor pack?

 

i bet your cylinders are flooded. let it air out and try starting it again.

 

did you clean and balance your injectors......could be injector stuck wide open....flooding your engine.....
