Default How much horsepower before getting bigger injectors? For B18A1?

Building the LS motor....I was wondering when do I look at upping the size of the injectors and/or fuel pump?
I'm hoping for 150-160 WHP with my setup:

B18A1
PnP Head
Crane #12 cams
P30 pistions(around 11:1)
maybe PnP intake manifold
I/H/E

Sounds like Erik's Racing chip in the PR4 ECU... Hondata can't do it because its OBD0 :-(

Will the stock injectors be able to handle this with just maybe a FPR upgrade?

Thanks!

It depends on what type of fuel setup you are going to use. Stock injectors will be fine if you plan on using an AFC. The stock fuel pump can handle alot. There are people out there using 12 to 1 FMUs with stock pumps.

You are limited by the injector size if you don't use an AFC. Too big of an injector without the proper management will cause idle problems and affect lower rpm/ narrow throttle positions air/fuel.

If you step up to a bigger injector, get the ones summit sells that say a 10% increase. Bottom line, with those mods I would suggest at least an AFC.

Good luck with the cams!

most people dont get a bigger injector unless they are running 100% or more duty cycle. Then that REALLY means you need to upgrade.

They are 240cc Injectors ..I wouldnt upgrade N/a enless you were running an insanely high c/r ...With any F/I system I would reccomend atleast some 310's and a vafc and throw the fmu in the garbage

i know the venom injectors are a 10% increase, for $25 per injector they will do custom flow rates. you more than likely wont need them for your setup but if you ever go more extreme na or forced induction let me know, i sell venom products, i can get you great prices. with that goal of 160whp stock injectors are fine.
