Default Tein SS Owners Read

Unlike the other teins, tein ss has to reuse the pillowball mounts from the stock assembly.

Once its on the tein assembley, how much do you screw down the 14mm nut on the top of the shock's rod (right where u also adjust the shock)?

you can see how the very top of this picture shows the threaded rod, how far does that gold colored nut have to be threaded on?

EDIT: and if someone knows what torque spec it should be done i need that as well

if you look close at the top of the rod, there is a sopt where you can fit an open ended wrench. 12mm i think. you hold that and turn the nut down tight. i cant remember the torque spec, but you need a crows foot to do that anyway. just make sure you dont turn the rod.

If that link doesn't work check out Tein's site and go to the technical part that has the installation instructions. For the top nut it looks like 29.4 I can't see what's after looks like "N ??"

That # (29.4) sounds like foot lbs. to me

All other bolts that aren't mentioned in the instrucs use OEM specs. I actually e-mailed Tein about this today and got the answers as well
