Apex'i 's filter is the best, test proven.
70 buck without fitting=$$

hks(real sh-t, not knock off's) is not recommended for cai i guess,
it doesnt filter out as much as paper style(apexi, aem+k&n).
foam element =cheaper to replace and no need for re-oil.

I use to have hks's 200 but i switched to AEM's

I'd rather spent 30-40 for K&N instead of forking out close to 100 for a filter.Thats just my opinion

What filter did you buy? About three months ago I bought a filter for my Iceman and it only cost me $33. It's was a cone style filter that basically was the same size as what comes with the Iceman to start with. Sorry, I can't think of the part #.

Since both have a close price, should I get Apex'i dual funnels or K&N?

I didnt notice any difference when I put in just the K&N drop in filter for my airbox, was a waste of money imo...

I did notice the improvement with the cold air intake.

For the same amount of money i would get the K&N Cone filter, not the drop-in.

Did you remove the resonator when you put in the drop-in or just put in the k&n drop-in? I've heard that if you don't remove the resonator it's not going to make much of a difference but if you do remove it you'll notice the difference. Don't know if thats true or not, thats just what I've heard before.

With the K&N Drop in, I just put it in, didnt know much about cars at the time, so I didnt mess with anything else.

With the AEM CAI, I have removed all the stuff, like you normally would.

I will never waste money on the drop in again. I actually have it still, if anyone wanted it for just shipping costs.
