Default Bremerton 2003 National Tour

Of the three National Tours that I have done this year, I have to say this one was by far the most fun. A big part of the fun was due to the whole Bling-Bling Racing crew and a huge thanks to Nash and Terri for their hospitality.

A big highlight for me was to check out the newest additions to johng's race kaa.

The only down side to the event was that I finished Saturday with 3 dirty runs then 2 more on Sunday. Oh well, there's always next year.

I should have some pictures posted later tonight.

Jeremy, It was a blast to run against you and to have you around. You would have definately been a contender if you were clean on your runs. Thanks for the info on the quick release hubs. You better give donald a run for his money for me at all the local races.

Jeremy,
Thanks for making the long haul up here to party with us. It was great having you and Paul in town for the long hot weekend. Looks like Bling Bling Racing dominated the Tour and took home 5 trophies! We're a force to be reconed with .

Bling Bling,

I too would like to express my many thanks to the BlingBling Race Team.

Thanks again for the hospitality! Especially Nash and his wife, and Bailey.

For me the best part was the trash talk, saturday nite, about V.K.

Hope to see many of you at Atwater next year, we'll try to block off some rooms at the AppleGate....

See you guys next year at Bremerton, I am asking XrcR6 to bring his CRX....we'll see how it goes....maybe I'll even bring some skill

If any of you guys come this way for any event let Geratol or I know!

Brad,

You car sounds more and more vicious each year! It's great to compete with such a large DSP class and such a variety of cars too. It's true that Paul has only driving my car at a few events and has done quite well. If it hadn't been for a mystery cone on his 3rd run on Saturday he would have beat me overall. It felt like cones were just jumping out of the way of my car.

I heard someone went off course and junked their car?

I was there for a bit on Saturday, congrats to all you guys whether you got trophies or not. Looked like quite a bit more fun than regular SCCA events.

A Delta +40mph inside pass at the T1 300 ft brake marker at PIR...and stuck it. HELLO!

(same thing with big brake brad...ask Mike Yochim about T10...he's still shaking)

Anyways, nice job to Bling Bling.

Thats because it loses more packing each year.

It was s fun event on the social side of things but I drove like crap and was only able to get one clean run the entire weekend.

Things I learned at bremerton.

1. Mickeys Ice 40oz is always a good choice to end a bad day of driving.

2. Always look in your rear view mirror when you blast down Hwy 16. (Im glad that sheriff was going home.)

3. A Laser alarm will wake up even the most tired racers. (This happened about 10 min. later from 2.)

4. Have a Happy

5. Ill have one more beer. Snoor......Snoor.............

6. Never buy raffle tickets because if you do all you'll get is 25 free bucks to Taco Time which you will have won from your meal ticket.

7. Michelin Pilot Sports Suck as an Auto-X tire.

8. Never fall asleep first

9. Never give the semi drunk guy the camera.

10. Bling Bling Fo Life

Sorry about my bad prose but Im tired and Im writing half awake.

We were going to but there were sme females around so we decided to be decent. Plus just about every time we are out racing we get a chance like that!! I don't think Kyle sleeps at night.

Thanks for the compliments on the car.
Greg, I think I still have dents in the passenger side floorboard from Mike trying to use the imaginary brake pedal on the passenger side of the car
