Default Hondata Question

I have a 5th gen prelude (OBDII) with a Greddy Turbo kitand am thinking about getting a Hondata S200 for better tuning capabilities. I have tried to do a tonne of research on this and have a few questions.

1. If Hondata is a complete ECU Replacement, why do I need to buy an OBD1 ecu from an Integra? Do they take the current one and re-chip it?

2. Also, the H22 ECU controls the immobilizer security, power door locks, etc... Is this going to get all F__ked up when I install a P72 from an Integra GSR?

3. On Hondata's web site, they have indicated that the P72 ECU is factory in newer 96 GSR's and up, doesn't that make it OBDII? If so, isn't that what we need to avoid?

Some clarification on the above would be Great. Thanks!

1. You need a OBD1 ECu - such as p72 or p28 to run Hondata. You also need a conversion harness/clip to switch from OBD2 to OBD1.

2. Yes

3. I believe up to '95 P72 is OBD1.
