Default weisco pistons, crower rods...how reliable??

Im about to buy a new car, and ive found one pretty built in my price range...specs:

b18c1 block, weisco pistons, crower rods, Arp headstuds, 2000ITR head(stock) Jg victor X intake manifold, LS tranny.
t3/t4e 60 trim turbocharger, turbo performance equal length manifold, spearco front mount intercooler, tial 35mm wastegate, HKS SSQ BOV, walboro intank fuel pump 255lph, hondata s200 with boost, 550cc HKS injectors

making 400hp @ 20 psi

I have had a lot of vouches for this guy, and it has been tuned by one of the best honda-tuners in VA (not sure of his name). But this car is my daily driver, and even with the vouches im still nervous. Ive search and found a lot of threads on je piston reliability, but not weisco. Can anyone shed some light onto this, if the car is done right, how reliable will it be? I really dont want to have to rebuilt after a year, and this is the only thing that is making me unsure. TIA!

IMO Weisco pistons are very reputable, they have been around in the domestic market for years. BTW does that stock bottom have factory sleeves???? If so I think I'd be more worried about that rather than the weisco pistons.

yeah, im pretty sure the sleeves are factory. Your worried about the sleeves with the 20 pounds, not the pistons and such right?? The cars runs 14 on the street, 20 at the track...If and when I do get the car i dont think I would be running anywhere near that on the street...no point really. It would just get me in more trouble, and wind up breakin stuff a lot faster.

here is my philosophy: never buy a built car.

2 reasons

1) its more fun to build your own

2) you have NO idea how it was driven..

I agree, I would much rather build my own car, but I go to school full-time and work 40 hours a week. After all that, theres only room for 1 more thing in my life, car or girlfriend girlfriend always wins

No, I'm worried about 400hp on stock sleeves.

There are some real good threads you can find w/ the search feature. I'd say 300 is safe. Anything over that and your starting to push it but it can be done. Really all comes down to how well your car is tuned.
