Default what to do??

I'm going to try saving most of my money over this winter so hopefully i'll have around 8k saved up by the time the snow here will melt. My LS has 115k miles on it now so what should i plan on buying in the spring. I've been thinking turbo but do i have too many miles to turbo my car safely?? I've also been thinking of maybe buying a type-r engine, i found a site that sells the engine, tranny, ECU and all that for around 5k but will a type-r bolt right into my LS, it should fit right?? I'm also open to any other options, thanks!

The type r will bolt in. I would build your LS engine, and boost the **** out of it. The LS engine is great for boost due to its low compression, and the tranny is good for boost since its gear ratio is longer. Either that or if you want ***** out speed, run a shitload of nitrous through it

yeah, but then again, a Vtec motor will always make more power boosted or not. I swaped a ITR motor in my former LS and loved it. That is a very good option because you get reliablitly, uniquness, plus you can sell you old motor for around $900 complete so that will help eat the cost of the motor.

then again, going FI would be awesome too. Just do a compression test and find out if your motor is doing good.

Also, I wouldn't blow the whole 8 grand on your car! Remember it's an Integra (LS for that matter). For 8 grand you can trade it in for an ITR, RSX, or WRX. Just keep that frame of reference in mind. -C

even with the amount of miles on my car i can build up the engine and boost it safely, i dont want to finish this car and only be able to drive it for 2 more years before it dies. Thats why i'm considering a new engine.
