Default Got a new HB!!!!

Hi, I just bought a new 92 si HB!! It feels pretty good adn Ill post pics later, its totally stock and the d16z6 is stock, but on with the boost. I have some Q? I want to ask you guys:

1.-My steering feels rather loose or wobbly, is it the tie rod end bushing or something else?
2.-The whole car feels a bit loose and I think that its because it has 110k on the stock suspension, what shoould I do to make it better (both 1&2)?. I was thinking of an ES bushing kit and later on some shocks and tein stech springs.
3.-Brakes are good but they squeal a bit, the owner said it had some of the pad clips missing, Ill get those and some new pads. But wich pads should I get? Should I also change to dot5 brake fluid?
4.-My tranny grind from 1st to 2nd if I shift very hard, I have to wait a bit to get the syncros to accomodate (sp?), Will new tranny fluid help this a bit?
5.-The idle is too low, is there a way to crank it up a bit or is the problem elsewhere (coil, rotor, plugs?) I have new zfr6 oem honda ngk plugs (i also have the 5 heat range but was told they where too hot)

The last owner gave me a box of parts, It runs nice but should I use these parts? I have distributor (sp?) cap, rotor and a new coil, New plug wires, fuel filter, fuel pump with floater, timing belt, all acc belts (There are 3 i thinks thats all of them), thermostat, thermoswitch and a lot of more **** Ill post later with some pics once I get a DCamera

THANKS

Steering?

Check the bolt on the bottom of your sttering column inside the car where the lower knuckle bolts to the rack itself near the firewall.

Will an ES master bushing helmp make the car more solid? I dont want it to vibrate but it feels sloppy (maybe its the shocks and spring but I dunno). What other bushings should I get with the kit or does it come with everything? The motor seems to rock a little when I change gears and release the clutch, will the torque bushing help this s lot or will it make me not want to drive the car of all the vibration? THanks a lot, where can i get the kit ES kit cheap?

PD: How do I remove water stains off of glass?

as far as the brakes squeaking it could be that you need new pads.mine use to do the same and i replaced the pads and it doesnt squeak anymore.i also use dot 3 fluid and mine has 170,000 miles.hope it helps

If your handling on your car feels very unsafe, I would work on the suspension. Maybe get a nice spring/shock combo, like KYB agx's and some H&R springs. Then maybe new tires if needed. Lastly and most importantly you need to get a wheel alignment. This will greatly fix your steering.

As for getting dot5 brake fluid I think you can't switch unless you convert your whole break system or master cylinder (correct me if I'm wrong guys).

The grinding from 1st gear to 2nd gear is bad. My brother has the same problem on his hatch and you need to get the transmission checked out. Replacing the transmission fluid might help, but I doubt it.

If the breaks are squealing you probably just need to change the pads/shoes. Hopefully you won't have to change the rotors too. The clips aren't that important and they don't cause squeaking.

With your low idle, I would probably check out the ignition system and look at parts that need to be replaced.

Lastly just do a regular tune up such as replacing the belts if needed. Change oil, spark plugs, etc...

After you do all this your hatch should be in great shape. Hope this helps.
