Default Best DOHC ZC Source?

I have searched....and cant seem to find a good spot...where did you guys buy a complete dohc ZC swap? I can use my stock si tranny and all, and will if i have have to but it has a ton of miles on it......

import autos salvage is proably gonna be your best bet cuz they're so close to you and you can save on shipping. hmotorsonline is good too i hear.

...dude you're in NC and have never heard of http://www.usedengines.com aka Japan Direct. They are a great place to deal with and they are out of Raleigh so you can go inspect and pick the engine that you want from there supply

They are pretty expensive, but a lot of good feedback from many people - It might be a little bit cheaper to get it from HMO, I remember it was like $850 from them (without shipping) and it's like $725 shipped to FL from HMO... but for the extra $100, I would love to see my engine

nobody seems to have them in stock, and my friend doesnt have 850 for it....we are going to have to put a d16y8 motor in it...since those are like 55o for a changeover..........thanks for the imput

Mine was $690 shipped to my door from HMO, had it for just under a year and the only thing that was bad was the coolent temp switch so I wired my own. Even compression all across.

I got mine from nippon-motors.com. Not a bad price, to be shipped to me in VA, it was about $900 with the transmission. Around 30k miles on the engine/tranny also. The engine runs very strong.

there was another site, it was pretty new, they advertised on h-t.com with a yellow type r in the banner. they had very good prices, and also had h23 vtecs for sale. ive been trying to find em for a while

....supply and demand I guess. I got my zc fron Japan Direct for $600 just last year.
