Ati harmonic balancer ?'s
Are any of you guys running them? If you are did you have to hone it to get it to fit the crank and what style hone did you use? All the hones that the local machine shops have with the stones will break because of the woodruf key groove. Any info would be appreciated.
well i know that we run the ati on our pro 4 car.the engine is a b18c1 and we had no problems getting the balancer on.we used a little anti sieze and the ati pulled right on with little effort with the crank bolt.make sure to locktite all of the bolts,it will come back to bite ya if ya did not!
good luck

I have honed about 200 Ati balancers
Use a rod hone, just take it appart dont rip the o-rings
remeber this is a press fit .
Some people like too heat them up
and then beat it on.

Thanks for the info guy's
. I'm told theres a intstaller/puller I can buy to make the job easier, my only worry is that once its in my crx theres no room to even get to the pully unless I drop the motor down. I still need to check to see if it will clear my z10 traction bars. So I dont want to hone it just yet. I might have to go to a industial machine shop to find a bar hone too, as my local guy doesnt have one.
